When: June 16, 2012 at 11 am
Where: Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Storrs. 46 Spring Hill Road, Storrs, CT.

Join us for our Equinox ritual honoring the Hellenic god Helios then stay for our post ritual pot-luck.

The pre-ritual briefing to orient new folks to ADF ritual practices will start at 11:00 am and the ritual will begin at 11:15.

What to bring:

A pot-luck dish to share. We will have a kitchen available if you need it to reheat your dish.

If you are inclined, please feel free to bring an offering for any god, goddess, or spirit you would like to honor. We ask that any physical offering be either safely burnable or can be left on the land without causing issues.

Finally, while ADF is a public pagan church and open to anyone interested in Our Druidry, we do require minors to be accompanied by a parent/guardian for legal reasons. If you are under 18 years old and wish to attend, please e-mail us so that we can provide you with more specifics.

Children’s Ritual

Our children’s ritual begins at 10 am and it will honor the Irish goddess Airmed and the god Miach.

The ritual will follow the same ritual format as our children’s Yule, Equinox and Beltane rituals (all of which, as well as the text from this ritual, can be found here) . Children will have an opportunity at the beginning of the ritual to color a picture as an offering, however, they are also welcome to bring something they found or made at home.

All children attending the ritual must be accompanied by an adult. We will be serving cupcakes and juice as part of the ritual. If for some reason your child cannot partake (food allergies, etc.) than we would appreciate it if you could bring a suitable substitute.

After the ritual, children and their parents are welcome to stay and either participate in the main ritual at 11:00 am and join us for the post ritual pot luck.
